Azafrán is a result of growing interest in the diversity of cultures. Our cuisine incorporates both current and traditional culinary practices and our menu makes significant use of a large range of spices and vegetables.

Starters

Vegetable or Meat Samosa: Homemade, lightly fried pastry, stuffed with a choice of spiced fillings: green peas and potato or minced lamb
Soup Tom Kakai Chicken: Spicy Thai soup with chicken and coconut milk
Prawn Puri: Prawns cooked in a spicy sauce served on deep fried Indian bread
Duck Rolls: Crispy rolls filled with duck, coriander and mango
Cheese Spring Rolls: Filled with Cheddar and Gouda cheese
Fruit salad with yoghurt: Seasonal mixed fruit with yoghurt
Raita: Indian style spiced yoghurt

Mains

Chicken, lamb or prawn Biryani: Chicken, lamb or prawns stir fried with spiced basmati rice and dressed with chopped egg
Chicken or Lamb Korai: Medium strength with onions, peppers and spices in a thick, tasty sauce
Mango Chicken: Cooked in a mango pure with onions and spices
Chicken or Lamb Dhansak: With lentils in a sweet and sour, medium hot sauce
Tandoori Fish: Whole fish in a chilli, cumin and coriander marinade, cooked in the Tandoor oven
Thai Green Curry: Chicken or prawns with green chillies, fish sauce, coconut milk and herbs

Vegetable Thali: Selection of vegetable dishes from mild to hot with chutneys and sauces
Mixed Vegetables: Seasonal spiced mixed vegetables
Terka Dall: Lentils with herbs and spices
